Work continues as a waterlogged airfield delays the first flight. Sadly the aircraft left the UK for the USA in August 2010 and subsequently destroyed in a crash in Denver.
Painted in the colours of 85 Sqdn in 1918. The original C1904 coded "Z" was flown by Aces Maj. W.A. "Billy" Bishop VC and Capt Spencer B Horn MC the aircraft was used in 19 kills according to records. Ref SE5/5a Aces of WW1 by Norman Franks -Osprey Publications (No. 78)
